Archery Lessons

For over 25 years Heartland Archery has been the headquarters for Winnipeg archery lessons. Over those years, hundreds of students have won Provincial and National championships. Five archers have even become world gold medal holders! You could be next.

  • Enrollment begins at age 7 through 600! 

  • ​ All Registrations are done Online (link will be posted when registration is up)

  • Equipment is included in the cost, you aren't required to bring anything... but feel free to bring your own if you have!

  • Classes run for 8 or 4 weeks (see Registration), each class is one hour

  • Classes available Sunday mornings, Tuesday Evenings, and Thursday Evenings (Click on the link below to see available time-slots).

  • Program qualifies for the children’s fitness tax credit​​

SUMMER LESSON INFORMATION

TRY ARCHERY - "Try Archery" is a fun one-hour introduction session for kids, teens, or adults who want to experience archery for the first time. Participants will learn basic safety rules, how to use the equipment, and enjoy guided shooting with coaching support. No experience needed! (Ages 7+)

FAMILY SESSION - (Single Session, 1 Hour) A great opportunity to learn some archery skills with your family, or group of friends! No previous archery experience required, class will be adapted to the experience level of the participants. Up to 6 participants per class, or enquire with us if your group is a different size.

Beginner (15 & Under) - Perfect for first-time archers or anyone still learning the basics. This class focuses on safety, proper stance, bow handling, aiming, and shooting technique in a fun and supportive environment. Ideal for kids and new participants who want to build confidence and consistency. Focused on kids up to 15 years old. If you are older and would like to join beginner, please see Beginner/Intermediate class below.

Intermediate (All Ages) - For archers with previous shooting experience who are comfortable handling equipment independently. Training focuses on refining technique, improving shot execution, increasing accuracy, mental focus, and preparing for scoring rounds or competition-style shooting. All ages.
